Where Women Are Cared For

slice1

I work with adult women across the lifespan who are struggling with anything small or large. I am here to sit with you as you talk through and process anything that is causing you stress. I am comfortable with you staying in the current day of your life or going back to work through childhood or past circumstances that have shaped who you are now. I work best with women who can let their guard down, be open to perspective, and be willing to hear patterns that may be contributing to their problems. You will be in the driver's seat as I go along for the ride with you. I will help guide you to a more fulfilling life.
We will set treatment goals. You will receive copies of your treatment plans. I will apply, teach, and follow up with you on an eclectic set of tools, including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Body & Muscle Relaxation, Grief Work, Resources, Book Recommendations, Worksheets for in-between-sessions, and more.

My specialty includes both parenting and non-parenting areas of women’s lives. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming practice and a culturally sensitive therapist. All are welcome.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C) Clinician, in the states of Massachusetts, RI and CT.  I have been working in the Mental Health field since 1998 and I have 28 years of experience.  My professional experience is very diverse and includes years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist (overnight sleep technician), experience working in Day Treatment Programs and Intensive Care Facilities/group homes for adults with developmental disabilities/Autism and experience working in various mental health outpatient clinics in MA and NY. While the populations I’ve served have varied, my specialty, passion, and focus for the last eleven years in private practice has been on supporting women.

Professional Supervision & Consultation:

I offer clinical Consultation and Supervision to mental health clinicians in MA, RI and CT and I also offer private practice start-up consultation.  My approach is genuine, warm, and collaborative.  I am well-versed in how to start a practice and how to navigate the insurance world.
