If you are trying to conceive, pregnant, dealing with postpartum depression or anxiety, experienced a recent loss, struggling to navigate parenting in a pandemic, grappling with the Rowe v Wade overturn you have come to the right place. If you are dealing with being a working mother, a stay-at-home-mother, adjusting to being a step-mother, or are NOT a mother at all you have ALSO landed in the right lane as I work with ALL individuals identifying as women, aged 18+.

My specialty includes both parenting and non-parenting areas of women’s lives. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming practice and a culturally sensitive therapist. All are welcome.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and PMH-C in the states of Massachusetts & Rhode Island and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut.  I have been working in the Social Services/Mental Health and Medical field since 1998 and I have 25 years of experience.  My professional experience is very diverse and includes years of experience as a Polysomnographic Technologist (overnight sleep technician), experience working in Day Treatment Programs and Intensive Care Facilities/group homes for adults with developmental disabilities and experience working in various mental health outpatient clinics in MA and NY. While the populations I’ve served have varied, my specialty, passion, and focus for the last nine years in private practice has been on supporting expecting and new mothers in the Perinatal and Postpartum period as well as joining you on your journey to raising children.  I have specialty training in the diagnosis and treatment of PMAD’s (perinatal/postpartum mood and anxiety disorders) and I am a PMH-C clinician.

Professional Supervision & Consultation:

I offer clinical Consultation and Supervision to mental health clinicians in MA, RI and CT and I also offer private practice start-up consultation.  My approach is genuine, warm, and collaborative.  I am well-versed in how to start a practice and how to navigate the insurance world. Reach out to learn more if you think I can be of help to you and we can decide together! Contact.

Advanced Training in the diagnosis and treatment of PMAD received from the Postpartum Stress Center, by Karen Kleiman, LCSW and from Postpartum Support International, from Birdie Gunyon-Meyer, RN, MA, CLC.  Trauma Training in Perinatal Loss & Grief received in 2021 from The Seleni Institute in NYC.
